I use this product for all my laundry. Most loads are done on 30 degree wash and always come up clean. Also smell really nice, this is important as all other eco laundry Liquids I’ve tried end up leaving the clothes smelling like stale Old water. Ecover always smells fresh.

Works fine but as usual but as I decided to try the new lavender and sandalwood. Did not like the smell of the sandalwood which overpowered the lavender by far. This is of course down to personal preferences. Be good if you could try new products.

I don't understand why this product isn't sold in 5ltr boxes. In fact why not simply sell THIS concentrated version in different sizes and not the other 'thinner' liquid and gel versions. I think it just causes confusion for the customer.

Only one complaint about this product - the tops of the 1l and 1.5l bottles have a different thread. So, when you've got the top of one in the washing machine, you can't use a spare one of the other type to 'cork' the open bottle

I now use this product for all my laundry except for delicates. I have very sensitive skin and allergies and most detergents make me sneeze and rash, even walking down the detergent aisle in supermarketrs makes me sneeze. I can actually sniff this product without any ill effects. It is very concentrated and I find I can use even a little less than recommended and get excellent results. I like the smell too. I can also feel virtuous due to the "green" nature of this product. It seems to clean everything adequately and I have not found any need for a biological product over the few months I have been using it. I find it to be economical especially in the larger sizes. I highly recommend this product for everyone. Whites seem to come out lovely and bright although deep colours do not fade. I have seen comments about washing machines developing slime but have not found this to be the case although I have been using it for some time. I do as my washing machine manufacturer recommends and do a very hot wash once a month - usually with all my dishcloths and cleaning cloths in it.

This washes fine, but apparently is the cause of the black slime building up in the washing machine.
The repair man said that powder is less likely to do this, however I found that your powder didn't dissolve fully and clothes came out still crusted with it.

Originally bought this product from a recommendation from my daughters dermatologist. Tried other brand non bio products with no difference in my daughters excema, but since using Ecover her skin is almost perfect after 7 years of using steroid creams.
